From the Publisher: “Just a hop, skip, and a jump away down Turk Street from the magnificent King Carl's Emporium, the 3rd through 5th graders at TENDERLOIN COMMUNITY SCHOOL embarked on a heartwarming 'tail' of life as a pet. Our young authors imagined life as a cat or dog from a local adoption center, San Francisco Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SFSPCA).
