Story Seeds
by Irish and Italian Youth Authors
Lovely stories written by both Irish and Italian students await. Each is creative and illustrated—and available in either language! From the bight, young minds of these sixteen schools comes stories of purple monsters, mummy interrogations, and crashed rockets.

From the publisher: “We are thrilled to present the fruits of CESDA—Creative Education for Primary Schools in Disadvantaged Areas, a collaboration between Fighting Words in Dublin and La Grande Fabbrica delle Parole inMilan. This Erasmus+ project brings together children, educators, and communities from Ireland and Italy through the power of storytelling. What emerged is a bilingual story sharing project where, over the course of 10 months, more than 500 children from 12 primary schools in areas facing educational disadvantage co-wrote these tales: each story began in one school, centered on their local community, then was passed across borders, and continued in another school, which added the flavor of their own local community, creating a truly shared narrative between classrooms and cultures.”
